About the tournament
Designed to connect business and community, the Birch Golf Classic held each September has donated to non-profit organizations helping transition our most vulnerable off the streets and onto better pathways. The event also highlights Community Trailblazers in business, law enforcement, social services, professional athletes, education and local celebrities, the tournament is a diverse melting pot of community and business joining together to enjoy the day together and get some amazing work done.
Recipient Organizations
The 2021, 2022 and 2023 Birch Golf Classic benefit recipient organizations: Businesses Ending Slavery & Trafficking (B.E.S.T), Real Escape from the Sex Trade (R.E.S.T) and The Whatcom Dream. The tournament shines a light on the incredible work they are doing along the I-5 corridor.
Prizes + Trailblazers
What Team raise in funds is how we are supporting the organizations and also puts Teams in selection position for Community Trailblazer + Team Prize. The Community Trailblazers are the 5th golfer for the team, all with links to the NW community. Team Prizes are unique and/or difficult to obtain items and experiences including: Private jet to exclusive wineries, high-end professional sport game day experiences, events at private island residences, Airline tickets, incredible wine packages and more.
