Meet Community Trailblazer, Eric Zimpfer!
Eric holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, PA and he is currently the VP of Refining at BP Cherry Point. In fact, he’s been working for BP since 2002, and prior to his VP appointment in 2020, he was the Operations Manager at the BP-Husky refinery in Toledo, Ohio.
As an all-around leader in his industry, Eric serves as the Vice Chair of the Refining Subcommittee at the American Petroleum Institute, is a member of the Washington Roundtable, and a speaker/advisor at the 2022 Energy & Sustainability Forum.
We’re looking forward to celebrating his accomplishments on the course during the 2023 BGC!
