Did you know that there are only 3 Western Washington University football players who have gone on to play in the NFL? Trailblazer Michael Koenen is one of them!
Michael is regarded for his incredible kicking and punting ability. He left WWU as the all-time leading kicker for both the university and the Great Northwest Athletic Conference, and he went on to play for the Atlanta Falcons (2005-2010) and Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2011-2014).
Now, you can find Michael at the Locker Room, which he co-owns with fellow Ferndale grad and local football legend Jake Locker. Or you’ll find him out in the fishing boat with his family. But on September 7th, he’ll be having some serious fun with us at the Bellingham Golf and Country Club!
