For 33 years, JWR Design has been a family owned and operated company in pursuit of providing excellent home design services to Whatcom County and beyond. It is our goal to design a home that is beautiful, efficient to build and is a space individuals and families love calling home. With you and your family in mind, it is our desire to ensure every detail is met, by listening to you and understanding your needs. The process of designing a home brings us so much joy and is something we hope to continue to do for generations. 

Over the 33 years of JWR’s existence, our services have continued to expand into areas such as permitting assistance and ready to build stock plans. Permitting assistance has allowed our office to help clients navigate the difficult process of obtaining a building permit. Through this service, we work alongside clients to help them accomplish their dream of building a home, all while allowing for a relationship to be built, something we value. In addition to permitting assistance, JWR has expanded our ability to serve individuals and families through ready to build stock plans. These plans are designed with the same level of care for every detail, while providing a more affordable and expedited plan design option to both our local Whatcom community and the rest of the United States. 

The latest extension of the Roetcisoender family companies is Dwell Real Estate Asset Management, or more commonly known as Dwell. Dwell is a full-service property management company that serves Whatcom County through excellent property management services. It is our goal at Dwell to help facilitate communities in which relationships matter, a higher level of service is maintained, communication is valued, and financial integrity is upheld. We desire to fulfill a greater level of service by treating every property and unit as if it were our own.
